This is a little HELP FAQ for the DWEMER POTION MACHINE:

Make Potion: This one's easy. Just select the desired ingredients and get an instant result!

Scan for Effect:
Now this section can be a bit tricky, BUT very much worth the effort!
1. First of all try finding potions by NOT selecting any effects from the dropdown lists.
2. Rather just select the "minimum total number of effects" and the "number of ingredients".
3. Leave everthing else the way it is by default.
4. Click on "Proceed with these criteria".
5. You will get a sumary of your selection. Press "Start Scan".
The higher the number of effects and ingredients are, which you selected, the longer the search will take.
The longest you will have to wait is about 1-2 minutes, BUT only if the number of options to be considered go into the millions ;).
Otherwise the search is fast as lightning!
6. View your results. If you should not get any result play around using different combinations of "number of effects" and "number of ingredients".
Try this for example:
Just set "number of effects" to 5 and "number of ingredients to 4. Now i want to see your jaw drop. Awesome potions ;)

When you have played around a bit you can start selecting effects. Try with 1 or 2 effects that you really want in the potion and then try to get result by selecting "number of effects" and "number of ingredients".
The option preselect effects from a special ingredient and then narrowing the search down can be very effective.
NOW stop reading, go ahead and try it out!

Preferences:
In this section, you select the ingredients you want to exclude from the search. RED ones are excluded. Add more if ou like.
